President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov arrived in Korea today, September 15, on an official visit, the presidential press service reported.

At Seoul airport, the Kyrgyz president was welcomed by Kim Han Seung, Korea’s First Vice Minister of Climate, Energy and Environment, and other officials.

The national flags of Kyrgyzstan and Korea were displayed on flagpoles at the airport. A red carpet was rolled out and an honor guard was lined up to greet the president.

During the visit, Sadyr Japarov is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Korea’s top leadership. He will also attend the first Central Asia—Republic of Korea Summit.

In addition, the president will take part in a special session of the business summit.
