Kyrgyzstan and South Korea sign 11 agreements and memorandums

AKIPRESS.COM – Kyrgyzstan and South Korea signed 11 agreements and memorandums during the Central Asia–Republic of Korea business summit, National Investment Agency’s Director Ravshanbek Sabirov said.

According to Sabirov, the documents cover cooperation with Korea’s trade promotion agency KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency), as well as projects involving artificial intelligence, equipment and spare parts supplies, and medical tourism.

“We also signed a number of memorandums and agreements on blockchain technologies today. We also signed agreements on artificial intelligence,” Sabirov said.

He added that the Kyrgyz side is presenting the country’s investment opportunities and inviting South Korean investors to implement projects in Kyrgyzstan.

“Korean investors are showing great interest in Kyrgyzstan today. Of course, we are also very interested in South Korea,” Sabirov said.
