Illegal sand and gravel mining has been detected in the village of Semetey, Manas district, Talas region. The press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to the ministry, a report was drawn up against citizen M.E.B. under Part 4 of Article 243 of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic and a fine of 13,000 soms was imposed.
The Environmental and Technical Supervision Service reminded that illegal mining, fishing, and other environmental violations carry legal responsibility.
