Head of Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan meets with Emir of Qatar
AKIPRESS.COM – Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva met with the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani during her visit to Doha, gazeta.uz reported.
“I conveyed to him the sincere greetings and best wishes of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev,” she wrote on her Telegram channel.
“Uzbekistan and Qatar share a warm and trusting relationship that grows stronger every year. We discussed future cooperation and new joint initiatives. Our countries share many common interests and excellent opportunities for new projects,” Saida Mirziyoyeva added.
The Head of the Presidential Administration attended the opening of the “Uzbekistan: Heritage in Motion” exhibition in Doha, which focuses on Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage and the role of Islam. The exhibition is a joint project between the Art and Culture Development Foundation and the Museum of Islamic Art.
