The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan handed over 102 new service vehicles to district police officers. The ceremony was attended by Minister of Internal Affairs Ulan Niyazbekov, his deputies, and heads of departments.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the vehicles were purchased with the support of President Sadyr Japarov. The new vehicles are designed to increase the mobility of district police officers, more quickly respond to citizens’ requests, and strengthen preventative measures.

The ministry noted that the fleet upgrade will reduce response times for officers to calls, improve the availability of assistance to the public, and enhance the efficiency of work in assigned districts.

The handover took place ahead of the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Kyrgyz police.
