Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi announced that the “Visit Kuwait” platform will be the exclusive official portal for receiving applications from local and international companies seeking to organize tourism, cultural, artistic, entertainment, or other public events in Kuwait.

In a statement to KUNA, Minister Al-Mutairi said the platform—set to officially launch on November 1—serves as the unified digital gateway for licensing and organizing events across the country.

He explained that the initiative aligns with the ministry’s media strategy to enhance digital transformation, streamline procedures, and ensure greater efficiency, transparency, and speed in issuing licenses.

Al-Mutairi emphasized that “Visit Kuwait” represents a strategic tool for supporting cultural and tourism development, while fostering the creative economy by empowering the private sector to contribute to high-quality events and initiatives.

He added that the platform will be integrated with the Kuwait Visa system to manage and organize the movement of visitors and participants both inside and outside the country, as part of a national plan to make Kuwait a regional hub for culture, tourism, and entertainment, in line with the objectives of Kuwait Vision 2035.
