Farwaniya support patrols have arrested an unidentified bedoun after his erratic driving raised suspicion.
According to a security source, the man was stopped after he appeared confused and swerved his vehicle to the lefthand side of the road. During a search the officers found on him five Lyrica pills and three electronic shisha heads containing a synthetic drug referred to as “chemical.”
Legal action was initiated against him, and was referred to the General Department for Drug Control for further investigation.
In another incident, the Jahra police have arrested a bedoun and handed him over to the authorities, while a search is on for a Kuwaiti citizen who was with him and who fled after resisting arrest, Al-Anba reports.
According to a report, a patrol became suspicious due to the behavior of both the driver and the man in the passenger seat.
When the man behind the wheel, believed to be a bedoun, was ordered to pull over, both men were found to be in abnormal state. During a search, the driver resisted arrest but was subdued and taken into custody, while his companion escaped.
Authorities found in the vehicle three sachets of crystal meth, a rolling paper, and a gold-colored knife in the vehicle.
