H.H. the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah chaired a meeting today (Monday) to review progress on restructuring government agencies and public institutions as part of efforts to enhance administrative efficiency.
During the meeting, His Highness directed a comprehensive review and reorganization of government structures to better utilize state resources and build a modern administrative system defined by efficiency, transparency and adaptability to future developments, reports Al-Rai daily.
The discussions focused on advancing institutional performance and aligning public sector frameworks with national development goals, while ensuring improved governance standards across government institutions.
The meeting was attended by Abdulaziz Nasser Al-Marzouq, Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment; Dr. Khaled Ali Al-Fadhel, Advisor at the Prime Minister’s Office; Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority; Sheikh Khaled Mohammed Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, Acting Head of the Prime Minister’s Office; and Saleh Suleiman Al-Mulla, Cabinet Secretary General.
