Minister of Health Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi inaugurated the new integrated dental department at Al-Adan Hospital this morning, in the presence of Assistant Undersecretary for Dental Affairs Dr. Ahmed Asad, Dental Department Director Dr. Jaber Taqi, Hospital Director Dr. Hussein Al-Shammari, and other medical and technical staff.
The Ministry of Health said the new department is part of its strategy to enhance health services and develop medical infrastructure across government hospitals, ensuring quality and efficiency in patient care.
The department features three specialized dental clinics, a dental radiology unit, and a modern sterilization room, providing integrated dental care according to the highest medical standards. It supports hospital services and improves the quality of care for all patients, particularly bedridden individuals and those requiring long-term hospitalization.
This initiative aligns with the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to expand dental services in public hospitals, complementing recent openings at Al-Jahra and Al-Farwaniya hospitals. It aims to make dental care more accessible within primary treatment facilities, offering patients a seamless and comprehensive care experience.
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to continuing expansion projects, modernizing health facilities, and equipping them with qualified national personnel and advanced equipment to enhance healthcare quality for citizens and residents and achieve development goals in Kuwait’s health sector.
