Senior ministers and officials across the State of Kuwait marked the second anniversary of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah assuming power, expressing pride in his leadership and reaffirming loyalty to his national vision, which they described as a pillar of stability, reform and comprehensive development.

Officials praised His Highness’s emphasis on the rule of law, justice, institutional governance and human development, noting that Kuwait has witnessed steady progress under his wise leadership since December 20, 2023, when he became the country’s 17th ruler following six decades of distinguished service in security, military and state affairs.

His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received a congratulatory message from His Highness Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah on the occasion of the second anniversary of His Highness’s accession to the throne, expressing sincere congratulations and best wishes on this national milestone.

In response, His Highness the Amir sent a letter of thanks conveying his deep appreciation for the kind sentiments and prayers, asking God Almighty to protect Kuwait, sustain its security, stability and prosperity, and grant success to all in serving the nation and advancing its progress, while wishing continued health and well-being for all.

Electricity, Finance and Economic Affairs Minister Dr. Subaih Al-Mukhaizeem said Kuwait has witnessed a clear path of growth and reform under the Amir’s leadership, reflecting sincere dedication to serving citizens and safeguarding national interests.

He stressed that His Highness’s vision continues to drive development, prosperity and stability, praying for the Amir’s continued health and success in leading Kuwait toward higher levels of progress.

Education Minister Sayed Jalal Al-Tabtabai highlighted the Amir’s special focus on education as the foundation of nation-building and the most enduring investment in Kuwait’s future.

He affirmed the Ministry of Education’s commitment to implementing His Highness’s vision by developing curricula, strengthening national identity, and preparing competitive generations capable of regional and global excellence.

Social Affairs Minister Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah described the anniversary as a pivotal national milestone, recalling His Highness’s early emphasis on the weight of responsibility and the sanctity of trust.

She noted that the Amir’s firm stance on justice, equality and “no one above the law” continues to guide reforms in social welfare and sustainable development to ensure dignity and stability for all citizens.

Health Minister Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi said the Amir’s era has opened a new chapter of ambition and achievement, with clear progress across development sectors aligned with Kuwait Vision 2035.

He stressed that strengthened regional and international standing, alongside improved sectoral performance, reflects the Amir’s wisdom and sound leadership.

Information, Culture and Youth Minister Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi said the anniversary renews national loyalty and pride in a leadership that prioritizes institutions, unity and youth empowerment.

He noted that His Highness’s vision places citizens—especially young people—at the heart of development and future-building.

Public Works Minister Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan described the occasion as a symbol of pride, praising the Amir’s balanced leadership and unwavering support for stability and infrastructure development.

She said government entities continue to work under His Highness’s directives to advance national projects and achieve the goals of Kuwait Vision 2035.

Justice Minister Counselor Nasser Al-Sumait said the Amir’s leadership has safeguarded sovereignty, reinforced constitutional principles and strengthened national unity.

He affirmed that Kuwait’s diplomacy continues to reflect the Amir’s vision, preserving national interests and enhancing global partnerships.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Cabinet Affairs Shareeda Al-Maousherji said His Highness’s reign has been rich in achievement and national service.

He expressed confidence that Kuwait’s development momentum will continue under the Amir’s leadership.

Kuwait Municipality Director General Manal Al-Asfour described the Amir’s directives as a beacon of unity, progress and love for the nation.

She prayed for continued security and prosperity under His Highness’s wise leadership.

Public Prosecutor Attorney General Saad Al-Safran said the Amir’s leadership has firmly established justice and the rule of law, strengthening national security and stability.

He affirmed the judiciary’s pride in serving under a leadership that places justice at the core of governance.
