Italian Embassy in Kuwait denies social media claims on Italy e-visa launch

The Embassy of Italy in Kuwait has denied reports circulating on social media claiming that Italy will introduce an electronic visa (e-visa) system starting in June 2026, describing the information as false and misleading.

In a statement, the embassy clarified that no such decision has been announced by the Italian authorities and urged the public to disregard the inaccurate reports that recently appeared on various social media platforms.

The embassy also advised applicants and travelers to rely only on official updates issued through the communication channels of the Italian Government and the Embassy’s verified platforms, including its official website and Instagram account.

For further inquiries related to visa matters, the embassy encouraged individuals to contact the consular section via email at alkuwait.visti@esteri.it.
