A large-scale field inspection campaign conducted by the Kuwait Capital Municipality resulted in the removal of 99 abandoned and scrap vehicles, alongside the issuance of 87 violations related to public cleanliness, road occupation, and unlicensed street vendors.
The campaign also led to the issuance of 1,419 warnings, stickers, and pledges as part of ongoing efforts to enhance urban cleanliness and regulate public spaces across the Capital Governorate.
Director of the Public Hygiene and Road Occupancy Department at the Capital Municipality branch, Faisal Al-Otaibi, said the intensified inspections are aimed at identifying violators and taking firm legal action against those who breach municipal regulations.
Officials noted that such campaigns are part of broader municipal efforts to improve environmental standards, ensure road safety, and maintain the aesthetic appearance of residential and commercial areas.
Authorities stressed that cooperation from residents and businesses is essential to sustaining cleanliness efforts and reducing repeated violations across the governorate.
