The Public Authority for Manpower announced the implementation of a field inspection campaign in Kabd, Jahra Governorate, targeting undocumented workers, in coordination with the Public Security Sector at the Ministry of Interior.

The authority said the campaign resulted in the arrest of 47 workers found in violation of labor regulations, with 25 recorded under Article 18 and 22 under Article 20.

PAM added that all necessary legal measures have been taken against the violators and are referred to the competent authorities for further action, reports Al-Jarida daily.

The authority stressed that such inspection drives form part of its ongoing efforts to regulate the labor market and curb illegal employment practices, confirming that similar campaigns will continue across different regions of the country in cooperation with relevant state bodies.

It also urged both employers and workers to comply with applicable laws and regulations to avoid legal consequences, reiterating its commitment to enforcing legislation in a manner that ensures fairness and protects the rights of all parties.
