The Iranian army added: “The enemy imagined they would be able to achieve their ultimate goal of dividing the country by assassinating the Iranian Supreme Leader and military commanders.”

It continued: “Our forces treated the ceasefire period as if it were a time of war, utilizing the opportunity to enhance their combat capabilities.”

It emphasized that “our forces are imposing control over the Strait of Hormuz, and the situation will not return to its previous state.”

It further noted: “The enemy has no choice but to respect the Iranian people and observe our country’s legitimate rights.”
