The Lebanese President, Joseph Aoun, commended on Monday “the Memorandum of Understanding’s inclusion of respect for Lebanese privacy and the acknowledgment that Lebanon’s stability and security constitute an integral part of any serious endeavor to consolidate stability in the region.”اضافة اعلان

Aoun added in a statement on the “X” platform: “The Lebanese people look forward today to these understandings being translated into practical steps that put a definitive end to the cycle of violence and establish a phase of stability, security, recovery, and reconstruction.”

He extended his “thanks to all countries and entities that contributed to the completion of this Memorandum, and to everyone who worked to include Lebanon in the efforts aimed at ending the escalation.”

The Lebanese President expressed his hope that “this development will mark the beginning of a broader path that enhances stability in the region and preserves the sovereignty of states and the rights of their peoples.”
