Muneeb Tashman, Director of the Queen Rania Al Abdullah Center for Educational Technology, stated that digital transformation has become an urgent necessity for both students and teachers, contributing significantly to the advancement of the educational process.اضافة اعلان

During the Government Communication Forum on Tuesday, Tashman highlighted that the “Siraj” application functions as an assistant teacher, helping reduce the workload of preparing lesson plans. He noted that all curricula have been digitized and integrated into the application.

Tashman added that digital curricula are part of the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy, with digital skills being taught from seventh grade through twelfth grade. He also mentioned the establishment of a cybersecurity department within the Ministry of Education to monitor and protect school networks from cyber threats, alongside training over 8,000 teachers and lab supervisors in digital capacity building.

The Ministry of Education launched the Siraj smart educational assistant on a pilot basis as an AI-powered learning tool, in line with directives from Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II to leverage artificial intelligence in education and public service.

Meanwhile, Ibrahim Al-Ramadneh, Acting Director of Vocational Education, noted that the ministry began a vocational and technical education transformation project for the 2023–2024 academic year under the Economic Modernization Vision, adjusting the duration of vocational education to three years to better meet students’ needs.

Additionally, Zaid Al-Nawaiseh, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Government Communication, emphasized ongoing efforts to develop the educational environment, improve education quality, expand modern school infrastructure, and build a comprehensive digital system to enhance education quality and accelerate services.
