An official military source at the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army stated that Jordanian air defense systems and Royal Air Force aircraft intercepted and shot down twenty missiles launched from Iran towards the Azraq area in the Zarqa Governorate early Thursday.اضافة اعلان

The source explained that the interception resulted in the fall of a number of fragments, with no human casualties or material damage reported. He noted that engineering teams handled the debris of those missiles to ensure they contained no explosive materials.

The source emphasized that the Jordanian Armed Forces are closely monitoring the current regional developments and updates, and are operating at the highest levels of readiness to protect the Kingdom’s airspace, defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and will not tolerate any violation of Jordanian airspace by any party.
