A security source confirmed on Wednesday evening that security authorities have referred 16 individuals to the Amman governor after they engaged in hate speech and incited religious and sectarian sentiments through posts that insulted Christian holidays.اضافة اعلان

The source stressed that there will be zero tolerance for anyone committing such violations, which disturb public order and social harmony and offend a segment of Jordanian society, under any circumstances.

The source added that security agencies continue to monitor posts that provoke discord and religious hatred, and will pursue their authors as well as those who republish them, taking the necessary legal measures against them.
