Chairman of the Jamaica Labour Party, JLP, Robert Montague says the JLP will use Artificial Intelligence to advance rural development if it gets a third term in office.
Speaking at the JLP’s mass rally in Half-Way Tree, St Andrew on Sunday, Montague outlined benefits that AI can bring across various sectors.

With the general election date now set for September 3, the ruling JLP is ramping up work to ensure Jamaicans are aware of its achievements over the last two terms.
It is also seeking to engage the public on areas of benefit to come if the party secures a third term.
Party chairman, Robert Montague, says AI will have a big role to play in agricultural development.
Montague says AI tools will also be used in healthcare to improve improve efficiency and broaden access.
He also highlighted the government’s commitment to ensuring that more Jamaicans are trained to use AI.
Meanwhile, Robert Montague says all of the JLP’s 63 caretakers are now formally candidates.
He urged JLP supporters to do everything to ensure that a third term is secured.
