Jamaica, Leewards Play to a Draw in Regional U17 Cricket

Jamaica and the Leeward Islands played out a draw in their West Indies Rising Stars Under 17 regional cricket encounter which ended on Thursday at the Sir Frank Worrell Cricket Ground in Trinidad.

Set 250 for victory Jamaica reached 195 for 7 when the game ended.

Wicketkeeper Odane Binns top scored with 45 and captain Demarco Scott 43 against Kunal Tilokani 4 for 41 and 8 wickets in the game.

The Leewards had earlier declared their second innings on 236 for 8 after resuming on their overnight 128 for 2.

Captain Tanez Francis top scored with 86 and Tilokani 49 against Demarco Scott 3 for 47.

Jamaica will next be in action on Saturday against Barbados at the National Cricket Centre.
