Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness says Jamaicans will turn in criminals to the police due to frustration over the disruptions they bring to communities once considered peaceful.

Dr. Holness made reference to last month’s tragic shooting in Sligoville, St. Catherine, in which two policemen were killed during a shootout with gunmen.

Three of the gunmen were also killed.

Dr. Holness says criminals have a tendency to infiltrate communities under the guise of being good Samaritans.
