A woman is in critical condition in hospital following a serious road collision in Co Mayo on Thursday.
Shortly after 12.15pm, Gardaí and emergency services responded to a collision involving three cars, a van and an articulated truck on the N60 Castlebar to Balla road at Smuttanagh, Manulla.

The driver of one of the cars, a woman in her 50s, was brought by ambulance to Mayo University Hospital, where her condition is described as critical.
A passenger of that car, a male aged in his 60s, was brought to hospital as a precaution.
No other injuries were reported at the time.
A technical examination of the scene was carried out by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and the road has since fully reopened.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward. Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam footage from the N60 Castlebar to Balla road and Manulla area between 12pm and 1pm are asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
