Earlier this month, Professor Zhu Xinkai visited University College Dublin’s Confucius Institute to receive a briefing on the Institute’s work and to officially launch the celebrations marking the Institute’s 20th anniversary.

The Executive Vice President of the influential, Beijing-based Renmin University of China and member of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Professor Zhu Xinkai is no marginal figure, indicating the importance assigned to Ireland’s flagship Confucius Institute (one of three).
