Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) — Bahrain-based Ramsis Engineering has opened a new branch in Basra to serve Iraq’s growing energy and industrial sectors.

The new office will put the mechanical engineering firm closer to its clients and partners in southern Iraq, where the majority of the country’s oil, gas, and heavy industrial activities are located.

Ramsis stated that its Iraq operations would concentrate on manufacturing, maintenance, and specialized engineering services, building on its expertise in the oil and gas, petrochemical, aluminum, power, and desalination sectors.

The Basra opening establishes the company’s local foothold as Iraq invests in oilfield development, gas processing, and large industrial infrastructure.

Ramsis offers mechanical engineering, building, manufacturing, maintenance, and oilfield services to industrial operators.
