In a videoconference call held with the ambassador of Iran in Caracas, and diplomats at Iranian Embassy in Venezuela on Tuesday, Iran’s top diplomat was briefed on the latest mutual ties between the two countries.

In a webinar talk with Iranian Ambassador to Venezuela Ali Chegeni and Iranian diplomats, Araghchi emphasized the principled position of Iran in negating any kind of threatening move against the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Venezuela.

He ensured the Venezuelan people to defend their country’s independence and national interests against the illegal actions of the United States by maintaining national unity and amity.

Iranian envoy to Venezuela presented a comprehensive report on the measures taken in line with strengthening bilateral relations between Tehran and Caracas.
