Jakarta, IO – ANTA Indonesia presented one of the world’s basketball stars, Kyrie Irving, as part of the Kyrie Irving World Tour 2026 “The Return” series, held at City Hall, Pondok Indah Mall 3, Jakarta, on Tuesday (June 30th). Irving’s presence was a special moment for Indonesian basketball fans, who had the opportunity to meet one of the most influential players of his generation in person.
Themed “The Return,” this event is part of ANTA Indonesia’s commitment to supporting the development of national basketball culture while providing exclusive experiences for fans. The series of activities is designed to strengthen the interaction between Kyrie Irving and the Indonesian basketball community through various inspiring and interactive activities.
The event began at 12:00 PM WIB with media and guest registration, followed by the official opening. Kyrie Irving attended an inspiring talk show discussing his career, playing philosophy, and his views on the development of basketball globally.
In addition to the talk show, attendees also participated in a Q&A session, special performances, and various interactive activities with the basketball community. During the event, ANTA introduced its latest Kyrie Irving-inspired collection as part of an exclusive collaboration between the athlete and the sports brand.
Kyrie Irving’s visit to Jakarta was also a key part of his The Return 2026 World Tour. Indonesia was one of Irving’s chosen destinations, following previous visits to Shanghai, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Las Vegas, New Jersey, and Macau.
During his stay in Jakarta, Irving took the time to visit the ANTA sportswear store, his personal sponsor. He accompanied his father and interacted directly with fans, the basketball community, and several national athletes in attendance.
A warm and enthusiastic atmosphere permeated every aspect of the event. Thousands of fans packed the venue to witness the NBA player’s arrival and participate in various activities prepared by ANTA Indonesia.
Irving admitted to being impressed by the extraordinary welcome he received since arriving in Indonesia. He said the enthusiasm of the Jakarta community was one of the most memorable experiences during this year’s world tour.

This world tour also serves as part of the promotion of Kyrie Irving’s latest shoe line with ANTA. The collection holds personal significance, inspired by his mother, Elizabeth Irving, who has been a key figure in the basketball player’s life and career.
As one of the best basketball players of his generation, Kyrie Irving has a string of achievements at both the international and NBA levels. With the United States national team, he won a gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics and is recognized as one of the best point guards in the world.
At the club level, the Duke University alumnus made history with the Cleveland Cavaliers by winning the 2016 NBA championship. This victory marked the club’s first NBA title in history and further solidified Irving’s reputation as one of the elite players in the competition.
In addition to the fan meet-and-greet session, The Return 2026 World Tour also featured a 3×3 basketball exhibition match featuring national athletes. Rio Disi, Surliyadin, Sandy Ibrahim, Kevin Moses Poetiray, and Althof Satrio faced the San Beda University team from the Philippines in a competitive match that strengthened the bonds between the two countries’ basketball communities.
The event also featured a performance by a team coached by Indonesian women’s basketball legend, Marjorice Fedora Tsarine. The young players had the opportunity to participate in a coaching session and play 4×4 basketball under the direct guidance of Kyrie Irving and Ali Budimansyah.
