Jakarta, IO – Iranian cyclist Arezoo Eskandari has finally arrived in Indonesia after completing a seven-month solo cycling journey across Asia.
Arezoo reached Indonesia on Saturday night, June 6, 2026, making it the sixth country on her route after covering more than 8,000 kilometers on her own. Before arriving in Indonesia, she had traveled through China, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, and Malaysia.
As part of her visit, Arezoo stopped by AFK Beauty Skin Clinic, owned by former actress Ade Fitrie Kirana, in South Jakarta on Monday, June 8, to spread messages of peace, friendship, and a more meaningful way of living as she journeys across Asia.
Throughout her travels, Arezoo has been introducing Iranian culture to people she meets while promoting her “Slow Life.”

“I want to encourage people to slow down, enjoy life’s journey, and not always rush. We often forget to appreciate the present because we’re too focused on the future,” she said.
Ade Fitrie Kirana expressed her admiration for Arezoo’s courage and determination in cycling around the world alone.
“I see that Arezoo holds the same value: that women can inspire others, provide motivation, and make a positive impact. Those values are closely connected to what I do, both through my beauty clinic and my foundation,” said Ade, who also serves as Chairwoman of the Women and Children’s Protection Foundation (YPPA).
“As a form of appreciation and support for Arezoo’s extraordinary mission of friendship, peace, and humanity, AFK Beauty Skin Clinic is providing treatments to help maintain her performance and stamina,” she added.
The clinic provided several treatments, including a premium facial to deeply cleanse her skin, Exilis treatment to reduce signs of fatigue around her eyes, skincare treatments to address sunspots caused by prolonged UV exposure, and immune booster therapy to help maintain her overall health during the journey.
For Arezoo, Indonesia was the first country to offer her professional beauty and wellness care during her cross-country adventure.
“I’m very grateful to AFK Beauty Skin Clinic. Throughout this journey, I’ve never received this kind of support before. As a woman, I care about my skin health, but it’s not easy to find a place you can truly trust while traveling for such a long time,” she said.
Arezoo also encourages Indonesian women to not be afraid of pursuing their dreams.
“Many people ask whether I’m afraid of traveling alone. I believe that when you’re confident about your purpose, the path will open for you. Don’t be afraid to dream, and don’t be afraid to try,” she said.
Financial limitations did not stop Arezoo from pursuing her dream of cycling across Asia. To fund the journey, she left her job in the private sector and even sold her car after struggling to secure sponsorship at the start of the trip.

With her bicycle and equipment weighing around 60 kilograms, Arezoo typically covers between 60 and 70 kilometers each day. To keep costs manageable, she often camps in a tent instead of staying in hotels and cooks her own meals along the way.
“I have to manage my journey carefully so I can make it all the way to the finish. And none of this would be possible without love,” she said with a smile.
After completing her schedule in Jakarta, she plans to continue cycling to Bali, a journey of roughly 1,200 to 1,300 kilometers that is expected to take about a month. From there, she will continue her adventure to India.
And wherever she goes, she says she is often greeted by people calling out, “Hi, Iran!” (eka)
