Jakarta, IO – Hangtuah Basketball is ready for the 2026 IBL All Indonesia, which will be held from October 24th to November 1st at the Laga Tangkas Sports Hall in Bogor Regency.
The FigHTers underwent a major overhaul after completing their IBL 2026 campaign several months ago. Today, Saturday, October 17th, they unveiled their roster for the 2026 IBL All Indonesia tournament at JClub Padel Court Jakarta.
The head coach of Hangtuah will be temporarily taken over by Raden Yohanes Kristian, while the team manager will be Resha Renaldy.
Significant changes are also evident in the player roster. Of the 15 players registered for the 2026 IBL All-Indonesia, only seven are registered to play for Hangtuah in the 2026 IBL.
The seven players are Arlan Sitorus, Althof Satrio, Yogi Chan, Richard Kornelius, Paschal Christopher, Matthew Bryan, and Januar Kuntara, who was re-signed after a four-month hiatus.
The management has also moved to bring in several new, experienced players to strengthen Coach Bombom’s squad, including Fatur Dzikri Shihab, Teemo Tan, Sulthan Fauzan, and Hans Abraham.
Meanwhile, The FigHTers reaffirmed their commitment as a team that consistently provides opportunities for young players to compete in professional basketball competitions in Indonesia. Two rookies have been registered for the 2026 IBL All-Indonesia: Richard Hartanto and Syailendra Amal.
“This major change is part of Hangtuah’s strategic move to face the upcoming, more challenging competition. This isn’t just about changing the roster, coaches, and managers, but also about rebuilding the team’s foundation by strengthening work systems, increasing professionalism, and creating a stronger culture,” said Kurniawan Santoso, managing director of Hangtuah.
“We realize that these major changes will require time to adapt. Above all, we want to become a basketball team that can perform more consistently, has a strong playing identity, and is capable of delivering results that align with the expectations of our supporters,” he said.

Based on the 2026 IBL All-Indonesia draw held on Friday (October 9, 2026), Hangtuah Basketball was placed in Group B along with Satya Wacana Salatiga, Dewa United Banten, Pelita Jaya Jakarta, and Kesatria Bengawan Solo.
The FigHTers must fight hard to secure the top two spots in Group B if they hope to advance to the semifinals and repeat the club’s best achievement when they made a surprise appearance in the quarterfinals of the 2025 IBL All-Indonesia held in Solo last year. (rp)
