Jakarta, IO – Founded by Indonesian fashion designer Daciadhia Phoebehana, DACIA is a contemporary ready-to-wear label that explores storytelling through modern streetwear. Known for bold silhouettes, functional details, and gender-inclusive designs, the brand translates diverse inspirations into expressive yet wearable collections. A graduate of BINUS Northumbria School of Design, earning a scholarship to Istituto Marangoni Milano. She has showcased her work both nationally and internationally, including at Dubai Fashion Week, continuously developing DACIA through a balance of creativity, functionality, and contemporary design.
For the BRI JF3 Fashion Festival 2026, DACIA presents “ORIGO S/S27,” a collection inspired by Phoebe’s Bangkanese heritage and the landscapes of Bangka Island. Meaning “origin” in Latin, ORIGO explores identity through place, drawing inspiration from the island’s granite coastlines, earthy landscapes, natural color palette, and the craftsmanship of Kain Cual. Rather than recreating traditional attire, the collection reinterprets these influences through contemporary streetwear—Phoebe’s signature design language—transforming cultural references into bold, modern silhouettes that are expressive, versatile, and designed for everyday life.

The collection consists of six looks, featuring oversized silhouettes, relaxed tailoring, modular construction, and functional details. Kain Cual is integrated as a detachable design element, allowing garments to be styled in multiple ways. By removing or adding these elements, each piece can transition effortlessly between more elevated and casual looks, encouraging versatility and extending the lifespan of the garments. The oversized fit also allows the pieces to accommodate a wide range of body types and encourages sharing between family members and friends, reinforcing the idea that clothing can be enjoyed by more than one wearer.

Sustainability has always been part of DACIA’s design philosophy. Prior to ORIGO S/S27, the brand introduced two sustainability-focused collections that explored responsible design and mindful material use (SUSTINERI: MENSWEAR F/W23 and SUSTINERI: DENIM F/W23). Building on this foundation, ORIGO S/S27 embraces sustainability through adaptability, longevity, and inclusivity. By creating garments that can be worn in multiple ways and across different body types, the collection encourages conscious consumption and a longer product lifecycle rather than seasonal use.
ORIGO S/S27 marks an important milestone for DACIA, as it will become the brand’s first commercially available collection for the general public. Following its debut at BRI JF3 Fashion Festival 2026, the collection will be available through the LAKON Store by the end of 2026 or early 2027, with selected pieces offered as ready-to-wear.
