Yadagirigutta: In a befitting honour, the pilgrimage shrine, Yadagirigutta’s Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, has moved closer to receiving the 29th National e-Governance Award. In this regard, temple Executive Officer J Bhavani Shankar delivered a presentation on the digital services being implemented at the temple during the e-Governance conference in Delhi.
Out of 802 applications received from Central and State Government departments across the country, Yadagirigutta Temple secured a place among the 32 best-selected projects. On April 8 and 9, the National e-Governance Awards team visited the temple and inspected the digital services being provided on-site.
During the final presentation held in Delhi on Friday, officials explained the online facilities introduced for the convenience of devotees at Yadagirigutta. They stated that innovative digital systems are being implemented to provide transparent and faster services to devotees.
Officials expressed happiness that these digital initiatives have brought national-level recognition to the temple.
