Vijay announces TVK candidates for all 30 Assembly segments in Puducherry

Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) president Vijay on Sunday (March 22, 2026) announced candidates for all 30 Assembly segments in the Union Territory of Puducherry as the party is going alone to face the upcoming elections on April 9.

In an official statement, Mr. Vijay announced V. Saminathan will contest from Lawspet, K.A.U. Asana from Karaikal South, L. Periyasamy from Nettapakkam, A.K. Sai J. Saravanan Kumar from Thirubuvanai, J. Prakash Kumar from Muthialpet, N. Dhanavelu from Bahour, V.J. Chandran from Raj Bhavan, S. Siva from Oupalam, S. Sasibalan from Ozhukarai, and S. Kumaravelu from Ariyankuppam.

Further, B. Ramu will contest from Manavely, R. Ramesh from Villianur, N. Manibalan from Mudaliarpet, K. Bharathidasan from Mannadipet, S. Maria Francis from Orleanpet, M.K. Sathya from Mangalam, R. Suman from Kamaraj Nagar, S. Vigneshwaran from Nellithope, D. Sasikumar from Kalapet, and S. Murugan from Indira Nagar.

Raja Mohamad from Thirunallar, A. Venkatesh from Karaikal North, G. Ganesh from Neravy–T.R. Pattinam, M. Brijesh from Mahe, and A. Thotta Raju from Yanam.
