The Uttarakhand Election Commission has formally announced by-elections for vacant positions in the three-tier Panchayats in the state. In a notification issued by the State Election Commission, the District Election Officer (Panchayat) and the District Magistrate announced the by-election schedule for vacant Gram Panchayat members and Gram Pradhan positions in various development blocks of Pauri Garhwal district.
According to the election schedule, nomination papers will be filed on November 13th and 14th from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on November 15th. The last date for withdrawal of nominations is November 16th, which will be 3:00 PM. Election symbols will be allotted on the same day, November 16th. Voting will be held on November 20th from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and counting will take place on November 22nd, 2025 from 8:00 AM until the close of business.
