The US-Israel-Iran conflict entered its 23rd day on Sunday. Meanwhile, attacks on Iran by the United States and Israel continue. Conversely, Iran is targeting Israel as well as US military bases located in the Gulf nations. Furthermore, Iran’s blockade of the Strait of Hormuz remains in effect. This situation has triggered a global crisis regarding energy supplies. Amidst this, US President Donald Trump warned Iran on Sunday that if it failed to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, the US would destroy its power plants. Giving the 48 hour ultimatum on his social media platform ‘Truth Social’, the US President said that if Iran does not open the strait then they would start targeting its power plants starting with the biggest plant.
Meanwhile, US Central Command stated that its objectives regarding the elimination of Iran’s capacity to project force against Americans are crystal clear. Separately, major attacks were carried out in Arad and Dimona in southern Israel. The Israeli Foreign Ministry reported that more than 100 people, including children, were injured in these attacks. Approximately 150 families were evacuated from the area to safer locations. On Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with the Mayor of Arad, Yair Maayan, and offered his prayers for the injured. According to the Iranian Red Crescent Society, the death toll in Iran resulting from these attacks has now exceeded 1,500.
