Two people lost their lives in a road accident within the jurisdiction of Nacharam Police Station today (Wednesday). Near the Swagath Convention in Mallapur, a car collided violently with a two-wheeler, causing severe injuries to the riders who died instantly.

Police arrived promptly, recovered the bodies, and identified the deceased as Ganesh and Gangadhar, both residents of Moula Ali. The victims, who earned their livelihoods through daily wage labour, were taken to a government hospital for post-mortem examinations.

Authorities suspect excessive speed as the cause of the crash. The car’s occupants fled the scene immediately after the collision. A case has been registered, and a search operation is underway to apprehend the suspects.

Relatives of the deceased staged a protest outside Nacharam Police Station, demanding justice.
