Minister for Water Resources N. Anand chaired a review meeting with officials of various departments here on Tuesday.

Mr. Anand reviewed the progress of various schemes and directed officials to ensure transparency and complete all works on time. He also distributed welfare assistance to the tune of ₹5.97 lakh to 13 beneficiaries. Earlier, the Minister inspected ongoing community works under the VB-GRAM G scheme and interacted with workers at Vikravandi near here.

Collector Sheik Abdul Rahman and officials of various departments were present.
