Smriti Mandhana batted brilliantly and scored a century in the third ODI against Australia. She reached her century in just 50 balls, becoming the fastest Indian to score a century in ODIs (men’s and women’s). Mandhana was dismissed for 125 runs off 63 balls in this match, breaking the record held by Team India’s legendary batsman Virat Kohli.

Kohli had scored a century against Australia in 2013 off 52 balls. In that match, Virat Kohli hit 8 fours and 7 sixes. Rohit Sharma also played an innings of 141 runs off 123 balls. In that match, India achieved the target of 360 runs with relative ease.

Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag is third on the list. Virender Sehwag reached his century in 60 balls against New Zealand in Hamilton in 2009, finishing unbeaten on 125 off 74 balls. During his innings, Sehwag hit 14 fours and 6 sixes.
