SC says Chief Justice of Calcutta can additionally deploy civil judges for SIR process

SC says CJ of Calcutta is entitled to additionally deploy Civil Judges, both senior and junior divisions, with experience of not less than three years. 

If further human resources is required, the Calcutta CJ can request his counterparts in neighbouring Odisha and Jharkhand to provide serving or retired judicial officers for the verification work, the SC says. 

SC asks the CJs of Jharkhand and Orissa High Courts to consider the Calcutta HC CJ’s request, if made, sympathetically.
