Kamal Haasan is coming up with an action entertainer that marks his first collaboration with director SU Arun Kumar of Sethupathi and Chinna fame.

The makers have officially announced the title along with an intriguing first-look poster, hinting at the powerful character the actor is portraying in the movie.

The movie is titled Sandiyar, and the title carries a strong sense of defiance, aggression and fearlessness, making it an apt fit for the character’s imposing personality.

Kamal’s transformation and the poster’s earthy visual treatment suggest that the film will explore a character-driven action drama with plenty of raw intensity.

Sporting a thick salt-and-pepper beard and a short hairstyle, Kamal Haasan is seen leaning against the window of a vehicle.

His piercing gaze and stern expression convey the personality of a man who appears fearless and unwilling to compromise.

The bloodstains visible on the vehicle add another layer of intensity, hinting at a violent and gritty world that forms the backdrop of the narrative.

The film is produced by Kamal Haasan and R Mahendran under the banners of Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI) and Turmeric Media Pvt Ltd.

Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music, while Sunil KS is handling the cinematography.
