Salman Khan’s Eid release, Sikandar, turned out to be a mega-disaster. There was low hype for this action drama from the very beginning. The poor reviews and public talk sealed the film’s fate at the box office. Sikandar managed to collect just a little over Rs. 100 crore nett in India, earning less than Salman’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. After a long time, AR Murugagoss returned to Hindi cinema with Sikandar, but he did a disappointing job.

Sikandar will be available for streaming on Netflix starting tomorrow (May 25). Like any other Bollywood film, Sikandar has an eight-week theatrical window. The streaming date was revealed in the ‘Coming Soon’ section of the OTT platform. Since the film was a massive flop in theatres, it will be interesting to see how it fares in the digital space.

National Crush Rashmika Mandanna played the leading lady. Sajid Nadiadwala of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment produced this big-ticket entertainer. Kajal Aggarwal and Sathyaraj played crucial roles. Pritam composed the tunes, while Santosh Narayanan provided the background score.
