Rajasthan government provides Rs 5 crore aid for Uttarakhand disaster relief

In view of the situation arising out of the natural disaster in Uttarakhand, the Rajasthan government has provided assistance of Rs 5 crore to the Uttarakhand government. This assistance amount will be used in immediate relief and rehabilitation work in the disaster affected areas of the state.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, in a letter to his Uttarakhand counterpart, expressed deep condolences on this sad situation and said, “In this difficult time of natural disaster, we consider the suffering of the people of Uttarakhand as our own pain.”

The Chief Minister also said that the residents of Rajasthan are standing shoulder to shoulder with the brothers and sisters of Uttarakhand in this hour of crisis. He also expressed confidence that the rehabilitation and reconstruction work will be completed soon under the leadership of Pushkar Singh Dhami.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed his gratitude to Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and the Rajasthan government.
