The Sri Kanaka Durga Temple atop Indrakeeladri celebrated the sixth day of Vasantha Navaratri with special ‘Pushparchana’ and elaborate floral decorations on Tuesday (March 24, 2026).

Temple authorities said that the deity was adorned with fragrant flowers such as jasmine, maruvam, chrysanthemum, and other traditional blooms considered dear to the goddess. The priests performed ‘pushparchana’ with jasmine, lillies, and other flowers.

Devotees gathered in large numbers to offer prayers. Surrounded by the fragrance of fresh flowers, the temple offered visitors a serene and peaceful experience. Officials said that the floral decorations not only enhanced the visual appeal but also created a calming atmosphere for devotees seeking blessings.

It is widely believed that worshipping the goddess during such special decorations brings prosperity, happiness, and well-being.
