District-level philatelic exhibition ‘Prayagphilex-2026’ will be held at NCZCC from Oct 9 to 11. Prayagraj: A district-level philatelic exhibition ‘Prayagphilex-2026’ will be held at the North Central Zone Cultural Centre (NCZCC) from Oct 9 to 11 after an 11-year gap.The exhibition was last organised in Prayagraj in 2015.Organised by India Post’s Prayagraj division, the exhibition will be held on the theme “India Through Stamps: Heritage, Culture and Progress”. It will showcase rare postage stamps and other philatelic material, offering visitors an insight into the country’s history, heritage, culture, personalities and important events.Postmaster general Rajeev Umrao said district-level philatelic exhibitions are organised in different districts every year and Prayagraj was getting the opportunity to host the event again after more than a decade.The postal department has also planned activities to promote stamp collecting among students and young people. A postage stamp quiz and workshop for school students will be organised on Oct 10 as part of the three-day exhibition.
