Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad experienced a power outage on Wednesday, causing inconvenience to staff and patients. However, hospital officials confirmed that the power supply was quickly restored after coordination with the Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL).
According to the Deccan Chronicle report, an official stated, “We did face the issue, but we restored it immediately after coordinating with TSSPDCL, whose officials also visited the hospital. The increased load on one of the transformers, due to air conditioning units, contributed to the problem. The electrician had to switch the generator to auto mode, but there was an issue with the main building’s transformer.”
Hospital authorities are seeking a permanent solution to prevent future power disruptions and ensure uninterrupted services for patients.
