Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar held a Zoom meeting with senior RTC officials to address issues raised by trade union leaders during a meeting with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

The Minister directed officials to adopt a positive and empathetic approach towards lower-level staff and passengers, emphasising the importance of friendly interactions.

He ordered improvements to basic amenities at depots and bus stations, including restrooms, drinking water, greenery, and hygiene, by 17 May. Prabhakar highlighted the Mahalakshmi Scheme and instructed regional and depot managers to review depots operating at a loss, such as Khammam and Medak.

He stressed conflict prevention, grievance redressal sessions, and maintaining good relations with elected representatives, urging all staff to work together harmoniously.
