Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the BJP achieved a historic victory in West Bengal for the first time, and noted that similar conditions are emerging in Telangana. Expressing confidence, he said he believes the party will form the government there, citing the enthusiasm of party workers as a key factor.
He remarked that the people of Telangana are yearning for BJP rule. On Sunday, Modi addressed a large public gathering at the Parade Grounds in Secunderabad, attended by thousands of supporters.
“The people of the nation are embracing the BJP solely because of its commitment to good governance,” he said. “Ab ki baar, Telangana mein BJP Sarkar.” Modi highlighted the BJP’s progress in states like Assam and Bengal, and criticised dynastic politics.
He added, “We are allocating thousands of crores for Telangana’s development, establishing an industrial corridor in Zaheerabad, and actively developing Hyderabad.” He asserted that Telangana residents no longer trust Congress or BRS governance.
