Prayagraj: The Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA) has announced the sale of 206 residential plots across six different housing schemes, with the process set to begin this week. The sale will be conducted through online registration and auction.According to secretary, PDA, Ajit Singh, out of the total, 40 newly created plots were added to the sale list. The available plots range in size from 60 square metres to 150 square metres, catering to the needs of middle-class homebuyers. The largest number of plots, 107 in total, will be sold in the Dev Prayagraj Jhalwa scheme.Other locations include 14 plots in Kalindipuram Housing Scheme, 5 each in Kasari-Masari Phase 1 and Phase 2, 30 plots in Naini Housing Scheme, and 45 plots in Jahnvi Puram Housing Scheme. Zonal officer Sanjeev Upadhyay informed that all plots were physically inspected and verified. Buyers will be given immediate possession upon completion of the purchase process.In addition to the land sales, the PDA has also begun the sale of 661 flats under 11 housing schemes across the city. More than three dozen buyers have already registered to purchase flats, which will be allotted through a lottery system next month.The initiative aims to promote planned urban development and provide affordable housing options to citizens. Officials said the registration for both plot and flat sales has already begun, and detailed information about eligibility, payment, and possession will be made available on the official PDA website.
