Over 19,000 appear for TNUSRB exam in two districts

As many as 9,160 candidates in Cuddalore district on Sunday appeared for the written examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) for recruitment of Grade – II Police constables, Grade II Jail Warders and Firemen.

Out of the 10,345 applicants, 1,133 did not turn up for the exam. The exam was held under the supervision of Superintendent of Police S. Jeyakumar. The exam was conducted at eight centres in Cuddalore district.

In Villupuram district, around 9,856 candidates appeared for the exam. Deputy Inspector General of Police (Villupuram Range) E.S. Uma and Superintendent of Police P. Saravanan inspected the arrangements at the examination centres.
