Ranveer Singh-starrer “Dhurandhar 2,” after its record-breaking box office performance, is now ready for digital release. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film will stream on Jio-Hotstar from June 5th.

The film’s digital premiere is scheduled for June 4th at 7 p.m. This franchise has become India’s most successful film series, grossing over ₹3,000 crore worldwide.

Streaming announced on social media

The streaming platform announced the film’s OTT release on its official Instagram handle. The post reads, “The storm that is coming is called Dhurandhar. Watch Dhurandhar: The Revenge, raw and unseen. Grand digital premiere June 4th at 7 p.m., streaming starts June 5th, only on Jio-Hotstar.”

India’s second-highest-grossing film

Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues to set box office records. The film has so far collected approximately ₹1144 crore net in India and approximately ₹1795 crore gross worldwide. The film created a new record by earning ₹75 crore from paid previews and later surpassed Baahubali 2: The Conclusion in worldwide collections. It is the second highest-grossing film in India.

Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar 2 together earned more than ₹3,000 crore worldwide. This made it the first Indian film franchise to earn more than ₹3,000 crore. When more than one part of a film is made after its success, it takes the form of a franchise.
