A day after West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee spent hours at an EVM strongroom in the Bhabanipur constituency alleging malpractices, West Bengal Chief Electoral Officer Manoj Agarwal on Friday said there is no scope for wrongdoing at the counting centres.

“Such is the arrangement in place that there is no scope for any wrongdoing. There is CCTV surveillance round the clock and people can monitor the counting centres from outside,” Mr. Agarwal said.
