Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh stated that those criticizing him fail to distinguish between the DSC and APPSC recruitment processes. Lokesh spoke at the state-level Teachers’ Day celebrations held at the A Convention Centre in Vijayawada and stated that Chief Minister Chandrababu is the one who has conducted 14 DSC recruitments. “We filled 200,000 teacher posts during our previous tenures. Our government will conduct the DSC exam annually; three more DSC recruitments will take place by 2029,” Lokesh said.
Further, Nara Lokesh said that teachers possess the unique opportunity to mould children into great individuals. “We are committed to reforming the state’s education system. We are sending teachers abroad and encouraging them to study and return with new insights. Children can achieve wonders only when provided with practical education,” Nara Lokesh stated.
He said that the ‘AP Model’ in the education sector should serve as an example for other states and stated that they are now updating the school syllabus to align with modern times.
